Great weekend. In fact, I'm wondering who thought up the 5:2 workweek. Got in a 50 minute run Sunday..Did a 20 minute tempo run in the middle on the less varied part of the park where I run. Mildly hilly. Perhaps I should have made Sunday my long sd day but if you are in the mood for a tempo, don't let it pass, I say. This morning 45 minutes. I assumed I'd be a bit tired and was. Goal for the upcoming week? Get myself in a clear and concrete plan. I've got a half-marathon at the end of february. I can either race it or use it as a training run depending on how I feel. I know that I'll need to get the mileage up and consult with my Jack Daniels book..He will most likely think I'm crazy for doing a half so soon.
