This last week has been a whirlwind of travel, of sore muscles, and of filling my brain with a new scripting language. I traveled to Amsterdam to learn Actionscript 3. wit h my boyfriend Albino last week with the hopes to enjoy the city as well as learn but there was very little time to see too much. I was also quite sore from my half-marathon from the weekend before and hobbled about the city.

Amsterdam is so lovely and tranquil. In many parts of the city the only sound you will hear is the tinkling of a bike bell here and there (with thousands upon thousands of cyclists). I wouldn't mind making this place the backdrop for my life for a while. I also noticed an odd multitude of night runners (a favorite pasttime that Rome rarely affords me as I don't feel 100% safe doing so).

I shall furnish pictures tomorrow if I can remember. No one wants to come back to work after a week out of the office and I'm feeling overwhelmed.

I'm back to my regular schedule with a nice and easy morning run. (Sad to say the best part of my day was hours ago!!) I am cranky today and think I need a nice double to run the exasperation out of me.

I've also got to find a team this week so that I know when and where to find all of the good races.
