I haven't seen my family since this summer when I came home to go to Steens Mtn. Running camp.  I return home about 1-2 times a year but meanwhile my little nephew is crawling, walking, coloring, talking and now he is six and where has the time gone?

The idea of a family vacation in Florida has been discussed for the past year and now we are actually following through with it.  Mom; her companion, Howard; my brother Nate; my nephew Treyton; and myself.  And so I depart Monday morning early for a week in the Florida sun and I am hell bent on coming back with a light tan.

We've got tickets for Disneyworld, Seaworld, and the Kennedy Space Center launch on Thursday if the weather permits!! (Always wanted to see a launch!) 

I also want to get in a run a day in SHORTS!!!  :D

35 minute am run.  The chill I felt on the back of my neck yesterday was most likely the start of some sort of cold. ::knock on wood::  Sore throat this am that I quickly nurtured with this "Tantum Verde" Italian antiseptic spray.  I feel alright....I must!!!  Vacation beckons!!
